Altered Automotive is going to be my online gallery of Automotive Innovation and Auto Museums. Most of the articles with be a short story with a hand full of photos. This is a prototype.
1) This version - Sample Site Gallery One
This version is pretty much my "standard web page" with a 460px photo at the top, for the museum gallery style I added the row of 100px thumb nails at the bottom so you can click on them and open up the photo gallery.
2) Alternate version I was toying with a two column layout with larger 320 px thumbnail images.
Do you like the medium size teaser photos like this one --> Altered Automotive Sample Site Gallery Alternate Version?

Extra Text Added Just for Fill
Here is some extra text added about the automobile just for filler to see how this page looks. This "article" is roughly 400 words and about 2200 characters.
A car is a wheeled, self-powered motor vehicle used for transportation and a product of the automotive industry. Most definitions of the term specify that cars are designed to run primarily on roads, to have seating for one to eight people, to typically have four wheels with tires, and to be constructed principally for the transport of people rather than goods.
The value of a car to you and me as something to drive everyday, as you describe it "a useful life," is far different from what the accountants and insurance companies claim.
According to the bean counters and the insurance companies that I asked, it is common for a vehicle to be considered "essentially worthless" after it hit over 100k miles and 7 years of age. I know for some people, like me, a car at 7 years old and 100k mile, that's just breaking it in. But according to the insurance company, the vehicle basically has no "book value" at that point and they are sold for whatever someone is willing to pay for a generic set of wheels.
From the perspective of a business model, it makes sense to lease something for up to seven years, and then sell it for whatever I can get for it.

See, you could put an additional field after the photos like this called body more to add more text content after the photo gallery. Just remember to remove the label, change the value to <hidden>
This is the Gallery New layout that has the photo album links and then has this section availble for additional comments.
